The TMR 2WI series are DC/DC-converters with 2 W output power, regulated outputs and an ultra-wide 04:01 input range of 9-36 VDC or 18-75 VDC. These are placed in an ultra-compact SIL-9 plastic casing. The very high degree of efficiency of 84% enables a working temperature range of –40 °C to +75 °C at full load. Other features are the external on/off function and the short-circuit resistance. Typical applications for these ultra-compact converters are in the field of battery-operated devices, decentralized power supplies in industrial and communication systems, in short in all the cases where the space on the circuit board is extremely limited.
